Affirmation of the day: Quieting my mind


I will close my eyes and gently allow my breath to deepen. Breathing in the idea of serenity and peace, then breathing out all chaos and confusion I hold in my mind. In my minds eye I will visualize a peaceful place. Without judging, I will notice how calm I feel. I will take a moment and ask myself what I can learn from this quite listening. The answer may not come to me at this moment, but it will be revealed in the right time. Now, I will breathe into my heart and very slow exhale and thank myself for taking the time to calm my soul. I have learned it is in the silence of a quiet mind that my spirits make themselves known to me.
